About the Owner...
My name is Chris Austin and I have called Upstate South Carolina home since 1998. I started a technology contracting firm called VIP Technology LLC in 1999 that served customers throughout the southeast US until I sold the company in 2021 and attempted to retire (unsuccessfully) to Belize.
I had started doing hands-on remodel and renovation projects in 2005 with my own home and shortly thereafter began taking on projects for customers. While my focus with1RoomRenosis on small projects, I have completed whole home transformations as well. And, yes, I am still the guy doing the work, though in some cases with a helper or two.
I believe my previous clients would whole-heartedly agree that my word is my bond. If I make a promise, I keep it. That includes showing up on time and doing the job I quoted for the price I quoted.
